The Arlberg is closing with ridiculous amounts of snow

Sunny skies and live music on the slopes of Oberlech - the Arlberg winter is winding down.

The astonishing snow accumulation that has built up over the winter is serving up some fantastic spring skiing right now. Ski pass prices are reduced for the final week and the sun has been beaming down over the slopes. There is one more weekend to go and it is going to be sunny and warm.

Skiing through the Arlberg last weekend was remarkable - the snow is still towering overhead and there is sure to be a delay before the summer hiking trails are visible again. So, if you are a devote of skiing in the Arlberg, the clock is ticking! For those wanting to delay the onset of summer even further, the Austrian glaciers are deep in snow and will be serving epic skiing until mid-June. And for those who can't stomach the thought of parasols and sun loungers, the Hintertux Glacier will be offering skiing right through the summer - until the winter starts again.
