Skiing as far as the Gamsgarten |

The Stubai Glacier served up some great October skiing over the weekend with blue skies, illuminating the fresh snow.

It was good to back on the snow after the summer break and the first ski of the winter 17/18 season was fun with perfect skies and good quality snow. The south side of the Stubai Glacier had the odd patch of ice but was generally good, whilst the northern slopes which had a great vertical of around 600m was perfect and totally ice free. The groomed slopes had light, soft snow and queues were really manageable on the Rotadl chair.

The forecast is for a mild, sunny week, with temperatures halving and snow arriving on Sunday.
